The City of Saint Albans

A town in Vermont bordering the shores of Lake Champlain,  St.Albans was looking to develop a healthier community for residents, and showcase their local trails to visitors.

TrailHUB mapped out the intricate trail system and worked with the town, schools and land trust to name their trails based on local history, and plan user flow. TrailHUB then made maps and information available to the public in a simple to use app, with many residents now able to find trails on their doorstep for the very first time.

Kingdom Trails

Kingdom Trails has a lot of users who travel from far away to use the trails, and the Kingdom Trails staff would manually update trail information on multiple platforms to communicate with them.

By using TrailHUB the staff can now update conditions from the trail, and alerts are pushed to users through the app, text, and TrailHUB partners like Ski Vermont. The out-of-state Kingdom Trails user community now gets jazzed up about conditions and can better plan their next trip.

Craftsbury Outdoor Center

A very popular nordic ski center, and training ground for athletes, with ambitions to become a fat bike destination, Craftsbury were seeking to become more efficient in their operations.

This was achieved by giving the groomers the ability to update conditions from the trail. Using the TrailHUB API Craftsbury were able to brand and automate real time trail conditions on their website. This new reliability and accuracy has improved their customer experience.

Fellowship of The Wheel

A passionate group of mountain bikers who manage multiple trail networks, by working with land owners and towns develop fantastic outdoor assets.  With TrailHUB they were able to decentralize communication to their user community through the appointment of trustees, and make use of the website widget to deliver information. Another key benefit was the ability to manage landowner interests, by communicating their wishes to the user community.

The TrailHUB mobile platform allowed trail users, especially new or visiting users, to understand the direction each trail runs, therefore increasing safety and enjoyment.

Maine Huts & Trails

A widely spread out trail network that intersects with multiple other trail systems and activities. One of the common complaints amongst their users is their not feeling safe when exploring the Maine wilderness.

Maine Huts & Trails wanted to give their users the autonomy to take a safe adventure, and remain comfortable and informed about their expected arrival time.

By working with their GIS officer Maine Huts & Trails were able to develop an interactive map that provided all the information their guests would require from hut locations and parking, to services along the way. This enhanced the trip experience, and ensured guests are well prepared should an emergency situation should arise.

Wildwings Ski Center

A unique and special place, Wild Wings was seeking to bridge their outdoor activities with yoga. By using the interactive map builder to create their own app, they were able to reduce the amount of printed maps they use, and keep trail users well orientated on the trails.

In addition to keeping customers posted on trail conditions, they now manage and promote their event schedules which include a blend of indoor yoga and time outdoors by making use of the info alert feature and push notifications.
